About Mandarin Daily New's Signature Beginner Chinese Classes

Mandarin Daily New has designed a course on "Bopomofo (ㄅㄆㄇㄈ) and Basic Conversations" for students with no prior knowledge of Chinese.

• Guide students to learn Chinese in a way similar to acquiring their mother tongue.
• Start with commonly used basic Chinese sentence structures from daily life.
• Cultivate beginners' sense of the language and enhance their listening and speaking abilities in Chinese.

☆ Learning Bopomofo helps improve pronunciation accuracy.
☆ Practicing writing Bopomofo familiarizes students with the strokes and stroke order of Chinese characters.
☆ Once students master the recognition and spelling of Bopomofo, they can read and learn independently.

☆ Special "Pinyin and Basic Conversations" courses are offered during the summer months of June to August and in December, coinciding with the youth Mandarin Learning Program.

We welcome interested learners and parents of the youth Mandarin Learning Program participants to join in the learning.

Remarks (must read)

• MDN Language Center reserves the right not to open the program or alter the class time due to the lack of students.
• If the in-person course can’t continue due to the pandemic or other factors, the course will continue online.
• Any cancellation of class due to natural disasters, like typhoons, will be postponed to the following dates, students who are unable to take the makeup class are deemed as a waiver.
• All the courses are group courses. No make up class available if students miss any classes.
• To withdraw and apply for the refund, please submit the request in writing and email to mandarin@mdnkids.com. Our refund policy is according to the regulations of the Department of Education of the Taipei City Government. For people who ask to have the refund through wire transfers, have to take over all the expenses, which were happened over the refunding process, such as T/T banking charges and exchange rate differences.
