Class Schedule

The classes are held from Mondays to Fridays. The Group courses start at the beginning of each month. The Three-month Intensive courses also follow the schedule of Group courses which start at the beginning of each month; the students shall attend the courses for three months. Summer courses are held in June, July and August, one term in each month; the Winter courses are short course of 2-3 weeks and held in December and January. Detailed course descriptions are published in the newest course information.

Application Requirements

  • Chinese courses: Registration for the next term is open on day 20 of each month. Students who are interested shall present two 2” photos and passport for registration at the office on the second floor.
  • Three-month intensive courses: registration possible at any time for the next term, the students shall present the following documents before day 25 of the month at the office on the second floor: 1. Passport, 2. Study plan, 3. Financial proof, 4. One 2” photo.
  • Pronunciation course: Taiwanese nationals shall present one photo of 2”, students of other nationalities shall present one photo and the passport at the office on the second floor or via internet http://enroll.mdnkids.com for registration.
  • Training courses for Chinese teachers: After the registration via internet and paying the fees, please present the highest academic diploma and one photo of 2” at the office on the second floor on the first day of the class, or it is possible to realize the registration personally at the office on the second floor with the above mentioned documents.

Visa information

After paying the fees, we will issue a certificate of enrollment to the students enrolled at the three-month intensive Chinese courses for visa application. Normally the students will obtain a visa for 60 days of stay. On the first week of the second month, the students can go to the office on the second floor to apply for “study certificate” and “attendance records”, with these two documents it is possible to apply for an extension to the third month of stay at the Immigration Office. Please refer to the details of the intensive Chinese courses at the “Three-month Chinese Intensive courses information”.
Note: At the moment of visa application, please explain to the consular officer about the time and purpose of learning Chinese in Taiwan. Please notice that the officer shall not specify “P” on your visa, since “P” visas are only for private purposes (tourism, visits, family visits), this visa is not extendable in Taiwan.
